Guide / Families & caregivers

Be part of the plan.
Respect their voice.

A loved one’s health journey can bring questions for the whole family. Start by understanding how they want you involved.

Agree what involvement feels helpful.

Ask your loved one whether they want you to help understand the routine, attend an enrollment conversation or receive permitted updates. Authorization belongs in the clinical partner’s approved process.

Understand the limits of an update.

Family access is permission-based and limited to the information appropriate to that role. It does not give unrestricted access to clinical notes, transcripts or every call detail.

Keep ordinary support in place.

A scheduled check-in complements existing care. It does not replace your own contact with your loved one, their usual clinical team or facility support. Ask the team how to seek help between calls.

Protect their privacy.

Do not email medical records or personal health details to the public website mailbox. Ask the clinical partner for the secure channel intended for that information.
